Founded by Dave O'Callaghan, O'Callaghan Construction earned a reputation for quality, experience and top rated craftsmanship across Cork City and County. Dave's name became known not just for the portfolio of homes he created and improved, but for the honest, helpful and hands-on way he did it.
Today, O'Callaghan Construction continues that strong legacy under the leadership of Ken and Mark O'Callaghan, Dave's sons. With the same dedication to their clients and quality of work, they're proud to carry the family name into the next generation of building.
Ken manages the behind-the-scenes side of every project, working closely with quantity surveyors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure everything is ready before building begins. Raised on-site alongside his father Dave, Ken originally trained as a solicitor before returning to his true passion - building homes with precision, care, and a hands-on approach to project management.
Mark leads the hands-on side of every project, managing construction on-site from the moment work begins. Growing up learning the trade with his father Dave, Mark later honed his skills in plumbing and carpentry while working in Australia before returning home. Today, he brings practical expertise, craftsmanship, and a dedication to building homes that stand the test of time.
You work with your architect/engineer for the design and planning (Do I need an architect?). Then we take over - handling all construction, trades, and project management right through to handing you the keys.
